Balloon Glow in Tubac, Arizona

As a fund raiser, the Tubac Golf Resort sponsored a "Balloon Glow" one evening. The balloons were brought in, set up, and filled with hot air so that they were upright and beautiful. The baskets were anchored so that they did not go aloft. Whenever it was needed the pilots would add hot air by lighting the burners, and hence making the balloons glow. The darker it got, the better they glowed. There was a love band playing, and some food, but not nearly enough for the unexpected 10,000 people who showed up. It still made for a lovely evening for a photographer.
