Bhutan

In January 2008 we took an Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) trip to India. This included a pre-trip to Bhutan. This was a marvelous chance to visit the small Himalayan country that measures its worth in "Gross National Happiness." The architecture is consistent throughout the country and the clothing style is worn by most people almost all the time. At the time we visited they were undergoing lots of road construction an spiffing up the temples getting ready for the coronation of their new king.
