West Africa Olyssey Cruise: South Africa to Morocco

Lindblad Expeditions repositions their ship from Antarctica to the high Arctic every year. In 2012 they decided to include passengers, for the first time, on the reposition of the National Geographic Explorer. There were 26 stops in 19 countries along the west coast of Africa. Many of the countries rarely saw passenger ships. Lindblad had spent a year planning day adventures for the 150 passengers. This trip was March 24 - April 29, 2012. We felt this was a "must do" trip and the added incentive was the ability to again travel with Jay Dickman, a National Geographic photographer and Lindblad photographers Jack and Rikki Swenson.
The top video is a short version (4 minutes,) by topics, produced for my Multi Media Special Interest Group. I recommend viewing it. If you want to see the whole trip, the go to the bottom video. It is 17 minutes.
